Never saw anything like that from here. Everything looked so flat.
Mind you from your phone call, describing the conditions, in your area, it looked as though it was localized just like the one they had down in Millers Flat down Central Otago way.

Going through my photos and i came across a satellite photo that i saved from about 4 years ago, love the effect that Mt Taranaki had within the SE wind flow
