As i entered the forum index, i noticed mcdavitt's name as the newest member :!:

Could it be NZ's weather god????

Bob is one of the best/better forecasters and should be on the weather at night as he really knows his stuff
He has a great sense of humour too.I given him a hard time about our SWers too :lol: :lol: :lol:

LOL, since he is coming along to visit the trip to the manukau heads today , then I will have to roll out the red carpet, now that he has been described as God, LOL!
i agree too about his forecasting, especialy pacific forecasts for yachts!

It will be good to give Bob a hard time about a few things. I wonder if he still seeks out hailstones to put in his whiskey? (there you go Bob, theres a topic to start you off!) :lol:

Yeah, he should be on the nightly weather! If he wants to. :)

I saw on a metservice thing about what happened a particular month etc and read one about a guy in Nelson who owns a restaurant or something. This is 3 or so years back I'm guessing. But anyway, a hail storm went through dropping hail nearly the size of golfballs, that day he served them up in drinks to the customers I believe.
