Todays weather was a shock to the system as expected. June conditions. I heard thunder about 2.30pm over SE Auckland way. I was working at Flat Bush, Howick.

Today was the 3rd day running I have heard thunder and seen lightning. not bad considering the last time that I saw lightning in Nelson was in June last year! 27.4mm for us from both fronts and the cold pool today.
