55mm here and still raining.. thats alot of rain for Central.

It gave us an extra 7mm here.
Looks like Waiheke had some pretty heavy rain - Nev? :smile:

Yep, just doubled this month's total with 27mm here since mid-morn. About 1/3 of that fell in the last hour before clearing late this arvo. Makes up for the rain that failed to arrive yesterday. :-)

A bit like last year. We did the Otago Rail Trail last year in the beginning of March and I couldn't believe how green it was down there. :mrgreen: Feb last year was the wettest on record, apparently :-o

Looks like a good cell between here and Geraldine at the moment. Brief Heavy shower just gone though here.

Fine afternoon , humid and warm after morning rain gave us about 50mm southerly came in at 6.30pm moderate rain now 14.8C pressure slowly climbing . Kakanui River been in flood top of its banks now slowly falling

Line of squally heavy showers and thunderstorms coming up the coast around Oamaru-Timaru at the moment, quite intense on the radar before something to watch especially if the penninsula flares it up.
Will have to wait and see, tomorrow looks not too bad for some afternoon thunderstorms and hail, more so inland and into north canterbury so will be taking the cameras to work as per usual.

Gone SW here now. Looks like a substantial cloud band to the SW of here into TC :smile:
