Hopefully it slides down over Howick, hard to tell if it will hit or miss based on radar loop. Could use the rain...Manukau heads obs wrote:northern auckland still under the gun from a new line developing over kaipara

Yep, just doubled this month's total with 27mm here since mid-morn. About 1/3 of that fell in the last hour before clearing late this arvo. Makes up for the rain that failed to arrive yesterday.David wrote:...Looks like Waiheke had some pretty heavy rain - Nev?

A bit like last year. We did the Otago Rail Trail last year in the beginning of March and I couldn't believe how green it was down there. Feb last year was the wettest on record, apparentlyRichard wrote:Thats a good rain Andy and what a good time of year to get that much

Line of squally heavy showers and thunderstorms coming up the coast around Oamaru-Timaru at the moment, quite intense on the radar before something to watch especially if the penninsula flares it up.
Will have to wait and see, tomorrow looks not too bad for some afternoon thunderstorms and hail, more so inland and into north canterbury so will be taking the cameras to work as per usual.
