Re: Frosts 2012
Got to -2.5C here - good frost on the grass but almost no condensation on the windows because of the dry air.

Down to minus 3.3C here. Quite white but as SG said no condensation because of the dryness.

Re: Frosts 2012
2.6C here this morn, although not the lowest for this year.
I think Mangere might've recorded its first ever subzero temp in Sep this morn, and Whangaparaoa's 4.6C yesterday was also its lowest ever Sep temp (although the latter's records only go back 13 years).
Below are a few more T-mins for this morn c/o NIWA & MetService...
-0.9C .. Ardmore Aero
-0.8C .. Whenuapai Aero
-0.8C .. North Shore, Albany
-0.1C .. Mangere
0.6C ... Pukekohe
2.4C ... Auckland Aero
-4.7C .. Taupo Aero
-4.4C .. Christchurch Aero
-2.6C .. Hamilton Aero
-4.1C .. Dunedin Aero
1.0C ... Dunedin, Musselburgh
2.8C ... Tauranga Aero
2.8C ... Wellington, Kelburn
