We've had a few frosty conditions with this current cold SW flow out here but tonight there should be a frost for Christchurch.

Mainly sunny weather all day here, apart from that shower at midday.
You must live in the cloudiest part of Auckland

I flew out from Auckland at midday today and had a great view from aloft of those towering piles of cumulus clouds, also a circular rainbow.

Looking milder later next week with temps in the high teens from Dunedin to kaitaia.
July has been a cold month as usual and will be glad to see the back of it.

Truly sensational sunrise in Christchurch this morning. Reasonably mild in town too, but frosty not far to the west.

-Yes, it was frosty overnight but from, early morning, the temperature rose to 6.7C at 7:30am, with a warmish cloud cover.
