Some good lightning flashes around 7.00pm ,could even hear the odd rumble also.

Aye Captain!! About the same time my eye caught a couple of big flashes to the WNW in New Brighton whilst out for a smoke!

Is there any push over from the coast? It seemed very close to ChCh.

Perhaps I was dreamin' though.. may have been one of those wankers with bright headlights or a Blue LED spotlight but I doubt it. o_O 0_o :smile:
I'm no expert but I love severe weather!
