The "Rural" forecasts are the long version. The "Short" forecast is what it is. SHORT! Because it has a word limit (it is also broadcast) it can be vague at times to make sure any significant or severe weather is mentioned.

"Urban Weather" gives cloud, precipitation possibilities, wind type and direction, forecast-high temp.

The point I was trying to refer to is:
Why don't they drop the word "Short" and just say Forecast ...and if anyone wants an elongated forecast, go to somewhere else. It's that simple :smile:
Just like the word, 'mini' as in tornados and saying in forecasts, 'frosts in sheltered areas' :smile: :rolleyes:
