Hi everyone,
This evening I launched a new site for my weather station here http://howickweather.co.nz/
I am keen to hear your feedback. I have tried to make a professional looking website because I want to go into web development as a career. I have no formal training in the field hence I need a good site to show off to potential employers. It's been an ongoing project for the last 4 to 5 months, so I am glad to finally launch it!
Any feedback positive or negative is welcome.
I hope you guys like it
(PS I still need to design a new website banner, only just realised I had forgot to do it right at the last minute lol)

Well done!
Fantastic work on those graphs, very nice!
Not too sure on the background image, looks compressed on my 1080p screen. Background Images are always hard to do, compression vs quality.
But man, you have done a great job David, should be proud of yourself!

Thanks Tim. Yeah the image is compressed quite a lot. Thought it might not be a good idea to have a huge background image for users to download. I also use a 1920x1080 monitor but I didn't think it looked too bad...

I like how easy it is to view data from any time in your station's history. Graphs are excellent. It's very detailed while remaining simple to use.
Very impressive, great work!

New website for Howick Weather
David, this is by far the best weather website I have ever seen by any person or company.
How much would you charge to update Hamilton weather to something like this?
I really like that you can find any piece of info so easily.
Top 10 is a big hit for me. I find I'm always trying to find this info on my computer.
I might have missed it but is there a live page that updates every few seconds? How often are you updating the full website?
Once again well done

Wow thanks Jamie!
Regarding the Hamilton weather site, I would have to think about it.
PM me maybe if you want to discuss it further?
The home page is live, every 5 seconds
