Have just stumbled across this on the net, but it is pretty useless since they get boundary data from UKMO and GFS which takes a while to calculate there then it gets calculated with the MM5 model in Auckland... I guess it's similar to what the MetSevice (&Metvuw) has but much quicker...?
I must say the resolution on the MSLP maps is very good and takes in land usage and topography
Spwill, NZstorm etc did you know about this?

Great find Foggy!
Useless in what way? Meaning it's just the same as what you would see with GFS (READY for e.g) so it's no different in terms of what it's showing...?? Ahh, I think I know what you mean. It doesn't go very far into the future, I see it only goes to midnight tonight at the most. Still, quite cool.
Yes it has does have good resolution.
Cheers
