Another light frost here as well 0 this morning.
Yes cooler spring weather continues it would be becoming very dry here if it was warmer than it has been in the last 2-3 weeks.

I have heard of many ha of maize being taken out by frosts this year. Costly to have to replant.

That might have been the morning of the 05/11/2015, heard yesterday that a few of the vineyards of Waipara that use helicopters had frost damage because the helicopters couldn't find a warm air layer to push down which is something the pilots had not come across before, just show how deep the cold air layer was.

Na I think the mornings of the 13 and 14. We got close to zero here but no iced formed here so we escaped it but not far from here saw ice form.

Frost overnight damaged some of Andrea's courgettes.
Down to minus 1.4C here after yesterday's cloud cover cleared.

That is unusual for Rangiora. NW wind here still, though a rather cold breeze at that.
