There also was talked about next years possibility of storm chasing with New Zealanders, of which I may be interested in, as discussed on another topic on the forum.
...sharing accommodation with people that snored o_O  8-o
and the long times in travelling on the wrong side of the road with Steve Burrows saying once you get used to driving on the right, it seems to be quite natural to be driving on that side.
Possibly after a few thousand miles

Something to look forward to next year  . The great storms make you forget the long boring days on the road.

Yes good meet and many topics discussed, the finer points of Australian crocs, Mike's quizzing of Will and chasing USA, much murmuring of poor Canterbury weather of recent and the showalter index which I will have to look into a little more.

The Showalter would be more applicable to South Island West Coast rather than Canterbury. Negative Showalter values in the eastern Tasman would be a strong signal for West Coast/Alps thunderstorms.
