Doesn't look as if any low records for sunshine will be set, with brighter conditions recently. To the 26th, Ch'ch 53 hrs, Rangiora 62, Lincoln 60, Diamond Hbr 56, Waipara 90. At 120 Blenheim should even reach its average and Nelson surpass it.

Few untruths in this here:
You the fans, have told us this would be a great asset and now we’re in the position to make it happen. (Only MetService currently have the rain radar on their website.) We would be the second only app/weather provider to have this fantastic new addition
https://cwu.co.nz/news/canterbury-weath ... vertising/

Metvuw have been using radar data for as long as I can remember!

I doubt that cwu would get live rain radar images onto their website as metservice would charge a lot for that.

My station's mean minimum temp for the month of 4.4C is 1.9C higher than average because of the cloud cover at night. For the record, here's a timelapse from my webcam...

June was not a good month in my book as we had 8 days where the temperature did not get above 13C
(airport data).
