Accuracy is most definitely are not there first priority either, as long as it sound impressive.
Could say the same about NewsquawkZB .... propaganda and chest-beating comes first.
Propaganda, I'll say, like 7sharp & the project did a story on five gee, word for word nearly identical.
Did I hear someone say Chris Lynch from newstalkzb runs CWU :-k

Russell runs it now. I used to run it with him back in the day when I started it... but unfortunately that didn't last too long, Josh.

I talk with Chris most Monday mornings around 11.45am about the weather for the week (and further) ahead. He's a good journalist, but not a weather expert. I enjoy working with him.

Never heard of a "good journalist" before, where do we find such a creature? ;)

I find this a real shame. You started a great community focused page/group out of your passion for weather that was really handy for 'crowd sourced' weather updates. that's why CWU was so popular at first and gained so many followers, not because of what Russell has turned it into...

Thank you. Definitely a shame... but unfortunately not much I can do about it now.

I would have told Chris Lynch ZB tornadoes on average kill over 80 people a year in USA and do a billion dollars of damage a year. Dust devils typically do not hurt people or cause damage.
