Last two winters its been the end of July when there's been that switch to spring like. If we get through this winter with no snow on the ground that will make five years in a row, at 243 masl the Amuri basin every year had snow, most years more than once, climate change will mean snow as going to become a rare event. Hasnt been a hard frost since 2012.
This is your post from May 2015 Richard where you state you had a "hard frost". You also had 2 frosts in July 2015 where you state you got down to -9C. I mean I know you are one of these people who love talking about man-made climate change but why do you feel the need to exaggerate your own facts?

"Hard frost again with -7.5 deg You seem to get a lot colder on calm clear nights then what I get even though I'm hard up against mountains and at a higher elevation.. Was -5.6 this morning and -3.4 now. Has been below freezing"

Moot points, but Richard only wrote the first few words of that 'quote'. The rest was a reply from matttbs (Mayfield ?). :-s
And I think it was 2 consecutive mornings of "-10deg" that Richard mentioned in mid July 2015.

And why shouldn't it be when what was predicted as far back as the 1970's, which it is and at an ever increasing rate.

Wont be much John.

Noticed the weeping willows turning green today, same time as the last three years but two weeks earlier than it was say 30 years ago

It wasn't.
One or 2 things coming alive in the garden. Snowdrops are out plus the Daphne is coming along.
Noticed too, Old Man's Beard is flourishing along the trees in the local riverbeds at the moment. [-X
