More rain overnight but clearing away this morning and becoming a fine warm day this afternoon.
Fine evening. 28C for today with another 10mm of rain overnight.

Getting very dry in Southland.Yesterday's front gave me 1.6mm.Thats it.18.5mm for the month so far.We won't get anything from TC Dovi and any fronts coming in from the west have a wind change ,some cloud but no or very little rain.My water tank is low .Situation getting quite dire.

Heavy fog in Ashburton this morning. It’s amazing how warm it is though! 17 degrees and yes, still humid!

Kind of tropical style light rain here this morning, small drops but really dense. Also feels unusually warm for a rainy morning, just above 23C

100% humidity and 17C leaving town at 6:30 this morning, an epic inversion-like fog was visible inland from the tunnel and it was very dim heading out of town. Now hot and again humid in Amberley, clear skies.

The dew point at Kaitaia is 24C. The general Auckland dew point is over 23C now.

It's oppressively humid here at Tongaporutu (Taranaki) with no wind and rain setting in now. It's so muggy I'm sure even Prince Andrew would be sweating.

26/24 now. Broke my station record for highest dewpoint again with 24.4 recorded a little while ago.

Woah,crazy dew points around NZ! And I thought our 30+ degree / 22 degree dew point in Melbourne the other week was bad. Crazy summer for us all in regard to humidity. I've never seen it as high as it is in Christchurch

Misty/foggy overnight and this morning but clearing away but remaining rather cloudy and humid looking with light winds.
Sadly clagg moved in this afternoon and remaining all day.
Warm and humid though with being up to 25C here around lunch time.
Bit cooler this evening with some drizzle around. 0.2mm for today.

Currently on 24. That’s the lowest is been for over night. Most of the night it was more like 25. So this has just smashed me previous highest low by about 2 degrees. This heat is unprecedented.

See how high the humidity numbers can go today, dps are backing off from tomorrow morning, average temperatures next week will feel cool.

Will need some clearance in the weather to beat yesterday’s reading. Temps stable on 24C with thick cloud and patchy misty drizzle
