Re: General March Weather
it has to be Auckland's most settled 5 month period on record
(settled as in terms of lack of persistant winds, clouds, and lots of sunshine, and only bursts of rain etc)

Re: General March Weather
March 2022 was a month of contrasts, most notably for extremely high rainfalls for the East Coast (Gisborne) and Hawke's Bay Regions, with some parts of the East Coast Region receiving 500-600mm in the last 10 days, while the West Coast Region saw record mean March temps and, along with the Southland and Otago Regions, record low March rainfalls.

Re: General March Weather
If go by Ruakura figures came within a whisker of 5 consecutive months 2C above average, as well it (and also my station) has not had a sub 20.0C maximum since November 3rd last year!
