Re: General July Weather
After a good frost, possibly the best so far this winter, the NW cloud cover kept the temperature around 1C until the afternoon, when a bit of a NW warmed the temperature up slightly to today's maximum later this afternoon. 11.5C it got up to eventually.
Not much wind for today. Light NW this afternoon.

The current mild weather gives way to plenty of cold weather around NZ for the next week.

Re: General July Weather
I'm currently at the NW end of Waiheke in front of Oneroa (in the summer months I'm inland of Palm Beach).
Note that a couple of PWS's just a few km further east around Onetangi recorded at least 45mm since last night.

4.9°C on my thermometer at the moment and the clouds seem to have a yellowish cast which often means "snow"
