July's Rainy Tuesday Developments

Unread post by NZ Thunderstorm Soc »

With the persistent La Nina weather pattern this month, it seems as though a weekly event is occurring with a rainy Tuesday situation developing over A/NZ. This Tuesday looks likely with another 50 odd millimetre falling in some areas as another low pressure system moves over the country from the NE. Should be interesting totals at the end of the month in some areas from this persistent weekly La Nina event? Will it continue into August?

500mm at Matauri Bay doppler in the last 30 days... and another possible 80-100 in the next 48Hrs.
It's just getting silly now.
