First indications from the seven day forecasts for London are for a dry and partly sunny day but rather cool for the time of year with a maximum of 18°C.

In recent years, the Royals seem to have done well with the weather for their 'occasions'.

Looked like a northerly flow coming from the Arctic Ocean.

For those waiting in the queue to walk past the QE II coffin, the last couple of nights have been rather cold. Minimum temperatures at Kew Gardens on Saturday and Sunday were 3.2°C and 7.7°C respectively and for St James Park they were 7.3°C and 9.3°C.

The forecast for Monday remains fine but with cumulus build-up, but some sunny intervals throughout the day. A milder night tonight with a minimum around 12°C and a maximum tomorrow of around 17°C, with a light NW breeze.
