The teachers were a lot tougher on grammar and spelling when I was at school anyway and makeup of sentences to make essays sound interesting

Now looks like the only region of NZ that will get interesting weather off the upper trough is the Kermedec Islands. :(

For northern NZ, Monday looks mucky with low cloud and showers off a low level trough but the thunder risk in this trough will be zero. Weather will clear to fine and warm by mid week.

Next opportunity for deeply unstable weather in NZ could be the South Island next weekend.

The general standard of spelling and grammar used in this forum is atrocious (and I suspect the exceptions are people of more "mature" years). But this is hardly surprising, given the trends in educational practices.

I must admit, I have always been a poor speller also.

Met Service have a mod-high thunder risk for tomorro for the NI.

The basis of my forecast is that surface temps and dewpoints would not get high enough to trigger deep convection. Will have to have another look at this. :)

All the forums (about 4) I belong to, spelling/grammer is never that important. Its more more the content that is.

maybe the written English launguage is changing anyway, moving towards more of a pidgeon form, precipitated by the proliferation of technology.

I agree in principle. Unfortunately I've seen too many once-good forums degenerate into what appears to be a 't33n-txt-msg' contest.

W E L L I C A N T F I N D T H E S P A C E B A R  :D .
I believe its more to do with the age of text messaging and also MSN talking which leads many of us to say DESE THINGZ IN SUCH WAYZ.
Its sorta like talking to an international person where you kinda mimick the way they talk you dont realise it but you actually are trying to talk like them its the same with the age of texts it sorta plays the role in your life.
Great win by the All blacks :P .
Cheers
JASON.
