Can't see much from here foggy, have cloud and light rain
ery impressive T/cumulus NE of here towards Te Aroha.. I think the slight inversion at around 5000m is pushing it down under itself.. Can you Aucklanders see it

Plenty of water there spwill considering the baro is 1024hpa and no rain forecast for Auckland today. Actually Met Service yesterday had Isolated afternoon showers in their forecast for today but had dropped the shower word by this morning.
It seems to be the shallow instability which gets them off guard way too often.. (and also the inversions which bring annoying Sc)
Shower chances were the highest today out of this HP cell, the showers tomorrow should be confined to ranges and the Plateau, if any do occur.
Thursday sees higher risks of showers again.. especially in the eastern bays with sea breeze convergance.
