just steady rain now but i dont think it will last for much longer i can see the other end of the cloud

Nice sharp delineations here: cold southerly wind in exposed parts in W'gton but fine and clear.

The tv set said it was 1044hPa over the south island..the biggest ie highest surface pressure in the world today

Another cracker day in Cantab land 8) sun shining blue sky and 13.4C.
Feels like an early spring :P but we still have the stormyiest month of the year to come yet August.

magnificent day here in Christchurch, sun out, birds churping BEAUTIFUL. Looks like this nice sunny weather is going to continue tomorrow. but with cold nights. :)

its nearly spring in Dunedin. Around 10 degrees already.

Only a week until the sun sets on the downward side of Mt Flagstaff - and gives the afternoons a warm whip in their tail.
