17.0 oC here now with the NW wind
spring has sprung!
Springlike day in Chch too (even if there's still snow lying on the peninsula hills) - 18C max with sunny skies.

Lastest ECMWF gives us a glimse of a westerly pattern developing happening but with annoying intense anticyclones moving eastward in a much more northern :-k , movement :(

mmm a lot of light-wind sw'er stratocumulus type weather on the horizon then for the west of the NI.

Could be an anti-cyclonic September.

that would be typical elnino weather, i.e a high in the north tasman, WSW winds over NZ, anticyclonic gloom in the west and north, nice weather in the east....

Yes, coming week looks a bit unsetteld under a high barometer.
