GASP models are showing a bit of a cold blast headed our way...almost a year to the day, but not quite :D 8) :P
Thoughts?

Don't know wether it will be much here Maybe some very coastal showers maybe a thunderstorm hoping :P :roll: .
More Southland Otago may see a breif bite from the ice caps.

According to MetService, it could be the coldest outbreak of the year - for the Chatham Islands. (sleet and hail forecast there on Monday) As for NZ mainland, it doesn't look like much happening except the far south and maybe the central North Island. Fine weekend predicted for Cantebrury.

Yeh should be a warm wekend actaully 8) .
I would be going for 22C tomorrow and saturday and maybe 20C on Sunday not sure why MS are going for highs of 16-17C under a NW windflow especailly when today got to 17C under fresh light NE wind.
Does anyone know much about this south island blackout?
