not enough thunderstorms to make it worthwhile, or the Kaimai ranges block the signal too much, or? ;)

Close call.

388 USD inc DHL postage = 524 NZD for the box of tricks, just the software to add.

+ $180US for Nexstorm inc airfreight from Boltek who were the cheapest at the time and as far as I know still are

388 + 180 = 568us

568 United States Dollar =
737.38 New Zealand Dollar @ 0.7703 for notes you wish to exchange
758.24 New Zealand Dollar @ 0.7491 for travellers cheques received from overseas
761.70 New Zealand Dollar @ 0.7457 for telegraphic transfers received from overseas
774.69 New Zealand Dollar @ 0.7332 if you are purchasing United States Dollar.

so I guess - close call....

I guess the exchange rate may have been a little different at the time of purchase and visa currency exchange fees may have play a little part in it at the time and the fact that I spent over $100 making up the housing for it may have helped a little too...

so OPTREX are you still willing to call me a liar????

No I wasn't actually, but I notice you have now edited the price from $700 to $600 to try to emphasise your point.

No - I dropped it back to be more realistic after seeing what the current cost was!!! :!:

What got my back up was your smart-ass comment "close call" - I have no objection to you pointing out the current price apart from how you went about about it...
