Plenty of temp. and rainfall records. Wellington sun total is inaccurate but correct version (148) is still 1 hour behind Auckland (Ch'ch was sunniest main centre).

I like the way they go on about the 5 main centres of New Zealand when there is only traditionally 4.

Should really be 6 perhaps, as Tauranga urban area is catching up pretty quickly.
