Wow was up on the hills earlier tonight and fantastic sun set, with awesome looking mammatus clouds! ws quite a sight.
Metservice predicts thunderstorms tomorrow for Canterbury, would be great! see if theres enough day time heating and is unstable enough etc as the small trough comes through in the afternoon :D

Looks to be no action weather here for at least the next week
Hopefully we can get some fine weather over the weekend out of this ridge.
