Can I suggest closing this thread off and making the upcoming/current cold outbreak a separate topic?

And yes...we don't need an update of the temps every 5 mins :banghead: :banghead: ....most of us can get that stuff on our own, thanks....unless it is something pretty dramatic you have noticed, then by all means!

I don't think we will see any snow tonight...won't be til tomorrow afternoon, at the earliest...

I think its going to be just an otago event, too warm, it just doesnt have the feel of it.

Just a brief light shower here so far, temperature on the drop now for sure currently 5.6C.
Anything is possible from tonight onwards i would think but we shall wait and see, i also think this could be our best blast for winter coming :-w .

That fluke run for next weekend would be a bit worrying if it did happen actually, because looking at the start of the 12hrly run, that shows another 40mm or so, and with the 12 hrs in between the two runs, I would say that run has about 140-150 mm. With the ground as it is...

just drove through what seemed like sleety rain on the way home ...only 6oC here with that shower.... 8o
