Finally getting rain here, has been steady with moderate falls. Was sitting at 130mm year to date. Probably double that over the next couple of days. 14mm so far!

yes, one good thing out of all this at that the hawkes bay is going to get needed rain...but its cold rain, and getting late in the season for grass farmers to benefit (if there is some warm weather in june they will)

Looking at the rain radar, it looks like the Waikato is getting a fair dump of rain at the moment.

Hope nothing floods.

Funny its completly dry out this way as has been all day, you can really see that defined line on the radars i dont think the CBD is even getting precipitation.
After watching the game early this morning around 3am there was some brief heavy bursts of rain on the roof which probly only lasted around 30 seconds just coming through in very quick waves.

Yeah its quite localised drizzle. Its been persistent all day here and continues to fall, its been a very dull day. Infact up to 13mm today now! It seems from Ashburton through to Hoonhay has seen this drizzle. The radar has hardly changed all day. Its been stuck over the area all day.

Radar shows the drizzle clearing now. Its very light out there nw, has not stopped all day. Total of the day and i assume the end of this system now is = 15.6mm meaning a total of 85mm for this system over the past 6 days and a total rainfall for May so far in my area of 185mm
