only just warming up to 7C here and with a 15 knot ENE wind, the wind chill is 4C...brrr
we must have some of that cold air out east being brought in on the NEr

Yes, I meant relative to the previous week's T-mins :smile: - still a little below normal for June though.
Up to 11°C here now and winds have picked up. I see they're getting near gale further out in the Gulf.

Jim mentioned that Ranfurly was NZ's coldest town this morn with -6.7°C.

And that some local June records were broken in the SW of the North Island. I think they were ...
Wanganui Aero -1.5°C
Levin -3.2°C
