Its a mild day in Auckland, currently 21C Dewpoint 17C.

What a way to introduce the new La Nina phase, with a winter TC.
Just had a convegency sort of dump about 12:45pm here. 2mm falling here in 10 minutes.

Both the 0600Z Satellite/radar indicates a nice cb buildup over eastern Waikato....this will be drifting into BOP.

Theres 2 of them now Epi and Gina(one near the solomons and the other towards Vanautu)

Epi seems to be dissipating pretty quickly. Not much left of it. First June TC in the PNG region since 1972.
Meanwhile Gina is pushing onwards at Hurricane force and might well threaten New Caledonia when she does her recurving.
I have setup plenty of links for following both storms on my page at http://www.drdisk.com.hk/cyclones.htm although Epi hasn't got many links left that still work.
