The ability of the computer models to pick the development/ movement of low pressure systems North of NZ has greatly improved over recent years and will only get better.

I agree spwill.
I find the article a bit dry and a little tedious to be honest and prefer more ' colour 'when I read something.
In saying that, nice to see NZ articles on a few sites now.

Yes, I agree. I despair at the idea of it being "a bit dry and a little tedious". It's not even a thousand words. It has pictures. Pictures with colour! Have we really become so distracted and dumb to consider that too much effort?
I just hope they keep it up (the learning centre seems to be updated less frequently now...which is fair enough provided they carry on blogging).
