Nice to see a new forum - I was really missing the info and..er..entertainment I gained from the previous one!
Ben, in a post a while back you mentioned the swells from the low out to the east. We got them too, with some really spectacular surf roaring in on to our beaches. No damage reported to seaside properties, but I could see the spume being carried about 1/2 km inland when I went to have a look! You mention a Napier webcam - how does one access its output? I'd be interested to have a look.

But they both seem to be out for redevelopment of the webpages at the moment.
