Unread post by Richard »

-0.5 here this morning, had to get up and turn sprinklers on the garden at 3.00,in the end maybe not heavy enough to do any damage to frost tender plants.

Hmmm, Maybe tomorro morning for Christchurch. Was 8C at 8pm and has been dropping 0.4 every 10mins and now is 6C. No cloud cover, and could be a real cool night ahead.

Think Akld Aero got down to 7.5C this morn - first time it's got to single digits since Nov 13 and its lowest temp since end of Oct.

Down to 8.0C here.

First frost for the year here this morning down to -1 would have easily gotten colder if there was no high cloud around.
