Yes those ad's are very intrusive on the M/S site.David wrote: wow I am glad to have Adblock Plus then, I had no idea MS site was full of ads...LOL
So I got a great piece of software for the mac called glimmer blocker and that gets rid of them
I can take text based ads such as google ads, but Flash based ads I absolutely hate with a passion.

Re: Metservice Website
I dont believe so either,on the M/S website they had last nights low for Waipara of 8C, but driving through there first thing this morning there was a fair amount frost about,it would have had to have been at least -1,i know a ground frost will be lower but.....melja wrote:I do not believe that M/S moderate that rural forcast at all as it has 22C for thur in canterbury but 16C on other forcasts.

Re: Metservice Website
What happened to the map which showed all the 3-hrly temperatures/wind and rain amounts around the nation?
After searching for a few minutes I couldn't find a thing...
I hope it's just my fault here... but for a national meteorological agency this is... pathetic.

Re: Metservice Website
Just to jump on the bandwagon here - and this is no help to you Lukemyster coz you're in the beautiful Garden City - but www.WeatherWatch.co.nz has had a mobile site up and running for the past year now. Good if you want to check weather news...but if you're in Auckland you can also check the Auckland forecasts. Believe their may be some issues with iPhones with our new forecast layout? Keen to hear from anyone who has had this issue.Lukemyster wrote:Since its on the topic of Metservice.

Regarding MetService - I miss the rainfall data from the past month in each region, and the past 24 hours. That was always interesting to look at.

Re: Metservice Website
Dear Metservice.
Thank you for providing two weather websites.
As a polite suggestion we recommend you provide different forecasts on each of them in order to improve statistical accuracy accross the board.
many thanks
