As a farmer I have to say its a pain the butt getting the herd to change there internal timeclocks...for some reason they take a bit longer to change than the bedside digital clock!
Better fro BBQ's and evening work tho. My initial frustration passes in a week or so!

No
This means now that we have to wait until 1pm,4pm,7pm etc for MetService sattelite/rain-radar images on the free-bee site
I think DST stars too early, should be later in the month and then finish in late April instead in the "middle" of summer in March.
Someone else also mentioned that we should have DST in winter instead of summer giving us that extra hour of light in the evening

Re: DST Begins
That would be just plain silly. The sun would rise @ 9.20am, in Invercargill during midwinter.NZ Thunderstorm Soc wrote:Michael wrote:As you are aware DST started this morning quote]

Re: DST Begins
In the U.S they have DST from April 1(abouts the same <=> as us) but theirs goes to End of October like End of April for us) Also the weather is heaps better/warmer/settled in April than October for us

The sun rises in Invercargill's northern equivalent, Inverness, about that time anyway
