Ummm im just thinking of pubs or similar places in the area. If Raglan is too far for some there is the famous Waingnaro (hope thats spelt correctly) pub kind of on the way back from the wind farm.

It does look as though its going to be great weather tho.

oh god no not the hot pool. pub isnt too bad. like brian said. just have to pretend your a local haha.

i saw in the paper the other dya the hot pools got in trouble for faulse advertising. using stuff filmed from early 90's when it was once a nice place and tricking people into thinking its a good place to visit haha.

I would suggest meeting at the walk car park (if there is one, LOL)
so:
there is no actual address but the access road is past Bridal Veil Falls and should be at the top of the hill.

Tim - I am busy studying for exams. I can't manage the long walk anyway - I have somehow injured certain joints in my legs (a couple of months ago) which still haven't come right...

great day, good weather for the walk (8km each way or so, but just a slow incline up)
lots of people took their bikes....basicly its a road...

awsome being under neath a 100m high turbine!

sorry i failed to make it guys, winning the world cup celebrations went on later than i anticipated and i just was in no state to be out walking

looks like an awesome place tho... will have to take a bike out there and bike it one nice weekend
