That article is by Warren Faidley who doesn't have much time for Reed Timmer.

Faidley and Timmer both make a living out of storm chasing but they have differing philosophies on how to chase. There is some friction out on the great plains.

I can see why those that have been around a long time chasing arnt as happy as they once were.
This hobby has taken off in america, most high risk days the traffic jam of chasers can be seen for miles

Personally, I dont like the way Reed chases. He puts himself into stupid situations where he thinks the car will absolutely keep him safe.
He has aligned himself to get exposure on the Media and Social Networks, so he does stupid things just to get that shot.
I think he is the lead cause of people wanting to "copy cat" what he does in taking stupid and silly decisions around Tornadoes.

I used to like him, but I dont bother reeding his reports on the Social Media anymore, they are all set up to hype up the readers when he wants a reaction, and then put himself front and centre into the limelight saying that we are doing the right thing for the public.

I wonder if this movie Into The Storm is going to result in an increase of 'Reed type' chasers next season?

Btw looks terrible from the trailer.

Several people killed by a tornado in Mississippi today. December is the start of the tornado season for the Gulf States.
