Total rain = 22mm
Avg temp = 20.1C
Avg daily max = 24.9C
Avg daily min = 15.8C
Coldest = 12.0C
Hottest = 27.3C

Those are quite similar figures to other February's over the last 5 years.

Mean: 17.0C

Min: 4.8C on 24th
Max: 35.4C on 18th

Rain: 31.6mm on 9 days with 12.2mm on 23rd

For me in Reefton:

Ave Min: 10.9°C
Ave Max: 26.2°C
Ave Temp: 17.4°C

Min: 6.1°C on 28th
Max: 34.4°C on 20th

Rain: 32.1mm on 9 days
interestingly, we had exactly the same amount of rain in 2013 - 32.1mm.
Ave. min's were very similar, but Ave max's were 27.7°C last year.

Ventured over the Kaimais today for first time in a while. It was a shock to see green grass again, forgot what it looked like. I see why, from those figures.

The national average temp of 17.3C was 0.1C above normal.

The month's highest temp of 35.7C was recorded at Clyde on the 20th, and the lowest of -2.4C at Pukaki on the 23rd.
