This mornings temps are interesting,air temp showing -2.5 but ground temp on -1deg

Frozen rain on car and grass; air temp. +1.8 deg.at the moment. Sunny, some thin high cloud.

Frost on car and grass, air temp. was +0.4 at 6.30am.

Good frost here overnight before some cloud came over. but the batteries in my sensor went flat so have no idea what the low was. Was cold enough to freeze the soil on my garden and damage some plants though.

I got up at 2.30 and turned the sprinklers on so no damage to potatoes and tomatoes etc,can see me doing the same to night too.

Frosty on the deck overnight and first up this morning but screen temp was still above zero.

Was at -0.5 during the night but the hints of the NW coming though with it now on +3deg

2.6° Outside presently & reasonable frost, caught me by surprise, needing to add bedding in the middle of the night. Serves me right for not paying attention to the forecast.

Thats rather chilly Andy,i had all my sprinklers ready last evening but thankfully the cloud cover stuck about so only +3deg the low.

Gauge showing smack on zero with a small amount of ice on the roof of the car but not the windows,thats as light a frost as you can get

Did manage to get down to -1.5 before the cloud came in during the night,at 10.00pm last night it was + .5,so if it wasn't for the cloud it would have been maybe a -3 at least.
