Yep sites are back online now! Those big showers have swung around a bit near Auckland... been a tough day forecasting for Auckland that's for sure. MetService had showers and thunderstorms...WeatherWatch.co.nz had showers, some heavy....then almost completely dropped showers this afternoon (been dry all day) and now late into the evening it's swinging north west (after travelling north east). Good to see the radar back up... that wind change makes a huge difference! Looks like the Bombays are killing those showers though. Sorry, bit off topic!
Oh and until the Govt stop expecting MetService to operate as a commercial/private type business we wont see those valuable rain radars freed up to another site.

Just had a look at that MetConnect service, boy is it pricey, $125 + GST per month.
