Some odd capped cumulus congestus around here this afternoon, may have light shower around early evening.

Lovely day compared to yesterday.

Thick drizzle was falling at 5pm near CHCH Hospital. On the way home turned to brief heavy rain but remains dry out here in Halswell currently.

A few big drops of precip just after 1800 here in Conifer Grove, Papakura from the sea breeze convergence activity overhead. Breeze was gentle westerly but has just established a 180 shift, still very light airs.

Another lovely morning. The few towering Cu around and the light wind pattern are a sure sign of afternoon sea breeze convergence showers over the isthmus.

A mostly cloudy afternoon here, but a max of 25.0°C makes it my equal hottest day of summer so far. Looks like the SW sea breeze has won over the NE today

According to the herald Wellington still has 14 hours more sun ytd but this month is looking here brighter than january.

Today is even warmer with the SW flow blocking the NE sea breeze, a mix of sun and cloud with a max of 25.8°C here so far

26.9C here at 2:30pm - warmest day of summer so far. Yesterday's 26.1C here was 2nd-equal.

I see Adrmore Aero, Whenuapai Aero and Whangaparaoa also all had their warmest days yesterday, with 26.4C, 25.5C and 25.3C respectively.

While the far south has had a cold day for February, currently Dunedin on 10.5C.

An area of thick drizzle/light rain has been sitting over the city and northwards since about 5pm, quite thick drizzle here at times good drink for the gardens.
Not good with this overcast weather though who knows where summer has gone .
