Re: General March Weather
I’m seeing dust devils that size weekly at the moment and seeing smaller ones on a daily basis. Some days half a dozen.

Re: General March Weather
Latest EC 18Z high res run is suggesting that the radar is going to light up around Auckland tomorrow afternoon. Plenty of moisture already in the mid levels out over the Tasman today.

Re: General March Weather
Looking like some thunderstorms may affect parts of the country tomorrow (Wednesday). A very humid unstable airmass in the Tasman sea spreads onto the west of the country tomorrow with South island West coast getting some thunder. Chance of thunder for Taranaki early tomorrow. Also a southerly change in Otago/south Canterbury later tomorrow may bring a storm to the east.

Re: General March Weather
Plenty of moist air around the NZ region for the next week or two, will feel humid at times. Stable weather for Auckland this week.

Re: General March Weather
Looks like a long spell of warmer nights for the particularly the North Island coming up. The stable ridge so far South the NI is in the trade Easterlies.

There was a cloud bust this afternoon 10km to the south so I was told, looked like it too with a shaft of rain.

Re: General March Weather
Been a very nice 25C sunlit windless evening here with a few distant CB tops to view. Only the sudden onset of dusk before 8pm shows it's not mid summer.

Re: General March Weather
Very summer like here again today as well. Cicadas were still singing and the dog is still moulting like its mid January. The one thing I have noticed in the last few days is the ants are becoming more active.
