Yes there is a bit of active Cu off the coast there, I think I can actually remember that cloud off Amberley and as I said in an earlier post saw how it was dark to the North. An enhanced zone of instability, yes.

I look foward to a day with the type of specs that were on that day in summer, but with a warmr surface temp and higher dewpoint. Will be cool!

Yes Brian, I saw that stuff on the news. Alot of hail indeed. That photo of the hail up North (NI) earlier this year was comparable if not more hail. Anyone save that pic? From stuff.co.nz I guess.
