Yep. Made in the Netherlands according to the label on the bottle.

Hello John. It's good to see you enjoy the HP Sauce - an icon of the sauce world.
Unfortunately, following the takeover of the company by Heinz in 2005, production was switched from its original home at Aston to the Netherlands.

Apparently, I heard it was made in Australia, probably because of the Heinz organisation as well, but we don't want any of that here
to me , it's the ideal steak sauce

Hello John. Here in the UK, HP sauce would most likely be eaten with a good breakfast fry-up or a bacon sandwich. For steak, we would much more likely take Coleman's Mustard (yellow) as a sauce accompaniment.

The Hot English version? I'm ok with the American Mild, but not on steak. The Hot English, I couldn't fathom that on a steak.Simon Culling wrote: ↑Mon 25/02/2019 13:20For steak, we would much more likely take Coleman's Mustard (yellow) as a sauce accompaniment.

I use L&P on a good breakfast fry-up or Boss's Worcester Sauce, "Nothing like the BOSS" which is a Christchurch based sauce manufacturer of excellent sauces.
For Brisket or Corned silverside, (which I found in England they didn't have at butcher's shops that I frequented), I have Coleman's mustard as a sauce accompaniment.
The only corned beef I found was in tins?

Just discovered Branston Pickle.
Now, I have to find a good pork pie to have with it.

Bump. Some new faces around. Some older ones who haven't participated in this page too.
@ Johns suggestion, following post from other topic edited in...
Steven (NZstorm), Jamie (jamie), Simon (spwill) Brian (Awhituobs), Neill (tgsnoopy), Tim (TornadoTim), Ricky (ricky).
Might Have Simon/Steven mixed up (or their usernames, sorry if I did).

Re: Who are you guys?
Hi everyone. My name is Tom. I have been lurking on this forum for many years and thought it was finally time to introduce myself.
I'm 35 and grew up in Wellington. I bounced around the place in my early adult years following winters and teaching snowboarding. Decided to go to university in 2013 where I studied geology and environmental science and then did a climate related MSc which I completed in 2018. I have recently settled in Otahuhu, Auckland with my partner and 6 month old baby and work as an Environmental Geologist in the contaminated land space.
I have been interested in weather for as long as I can remember! Loved watching southerly changes roll into wellington as a kid. The wilder the weather the better as far as I'm concerned!
Although I'm very much a novice, I keep a relatively close eye on the models and love coming on to this forum to follow the discussion from you all in the lead up to, and during severe weather events. I will continue to do this, and may even contribute some now!

Here’s a photo of me outside MetService last August!
I’ve lost 12kg since this pic but thought I’d still share it anyway
