The NZ Thunderstorm Soc will be there, so other folks on this forum, this will be a good opportunity for forum members to meet each other.
If Micheal can't afford the airfare, maybe we could sponser him down, together with Brian Hamilton??
That would be fun !!!!

Today, I received the latest MetSoc Newsletter in the mail which also contained the 'guff' for the conference.
Unfortunately there was nothing for the 'amateur' in the programme, so I'll probably wont go now. Nevermind.

It would be a good chance to perhaps experience a Canterbury NWer at that time of the year at least :) but my luck it would be a southerly if I went there ;)
