Been Sw here all day. No rain or drizzle. Still rather cloudy.
I got up to 14C.
Clearing now. Could be frost in exposed areas tonight :roll:

28 knot gusts where with some very squally showers
but still not gale force, LOL
cleared up now

i noticed ricky's site has not been getting the wind....this is one direction he is quite sheltered from

now that its gone more SW you are getting the wind more ricky , i see ;)
during the night you had long periods with no wind, whereas here it blew 10 to 15 knots all night...which michael probably was getting
yes, there are way more sheltered places in auckland than manurewa that he could be living in!

They don't go away very long..now 8/8 and freshening also Rain looks likely after starting sunny with light southerlies :cry:

Can we get rid of this 'southwesterlies and rain' thread?? I thought Michael had his own 'Auckland Weather' thread to moan on.

As for 'southwesterlies and rain'.. is hardly ever meteorologically technically correct for Auckland. And don't say otherwise Michael.
I'm getting really quite sick of hearing gale and rain reports from you Michael.
