I havn't bought a movie camera yet as I have decided HD is the way to go but I am not keen on spending $3,000 on it. So have decided to play a waiting game and see what happens in that market over the next 6 months. Would like to get one in time for USA trip in May though.

Was in Akaroa on friday night, witness sheet lightning and heard a few rumbles of thunder. Heavyish rain for a time then cleared up.
