Pressures are Rising

Unread post by NZ Thunderstorm Soc »

Here an anticyclone out to the Se of us should quickly rise in pressure, this enhancing a moist NE flow over the country between that and a trough in the Tasman Sea.
I noticed the ECMWF have modelled an anticyclone in the north Atlantic to rise over 1045hPa in the next coming days.
That must be some record?

I see it is drifting west now and weakoning.
Does anyone know how high it got up to?
